Three years ago, Rhea said goodbye to the person she thought she would spend her life with. They had met in college, sharing dreams over late-night coffee and promising that distance would never change them. But after graduation, different cities and difficult choices slowly pulled them apart. Neither wanted to be the first to admit how much they missed the other. One rainy evening, Rhea stepped into a small café and saw him sitting beside the window. Daniel. He looked older, quieter, but when he smiled, it was the same smile she remembered. For a moment, neither spoke. Then Daniel noticed the notebook in her hands. “You still write?” he asked. Rhea nodded. “Sometimes.” He smiled sadly. “You once told me you'd write a story about us.” “I did,” she replied. “I just never finished it.” “Why not?” She looked out at the rain. “Because I didn't know how it was supposed to end.” Daniel was quiet for a moment. Then he asked, “What if it doesn't have to end here?” Rhea looked at him, surprised. He reached into his coat pocket and placed a folded piece of paper on the table. It was a page from the notebook she'd given him years ago. At the bottom, in her own handwriting, were the words: *Some people are chapters. Others are the reason you keep writing.* Rhea smiled, her eyes filling with tears. She opened her notebook, turned to a fresh page, and picked up her pen. For the first time in three years, she knew what to write. Not an ending. A beginning. **Some stories deserve a second chapter.** Would you give a second chance to a love that never really ended?
